It’s definitely bloated. Others have already mentioned issues like too much time wasted on side characters and such, but the Nika retcon is still the biggest debacle in the series.

Oda could've easily written the story with just 4 or 5 scabbards.
A perfect example of the bloated side cast taking up panel time from the SHs.

Egghead slays. Other post-TS arcs would be a lot better if it was cut down in half.
Honestly, my pain point with Oda has always been him introducing waaaayyyy too many characters and then they slow down the story. He had this problem before the TS as well, but prior to TS I didn't have to read it on weekly, I mean monthly basis
