I wouldn't expect this to be the final design. The rough draft designs can be pretty radically different. Katakuri was basically Snack before Oda promoted him to arc antagonist.
Ancient Egypt was known as Red Land and Black Land respectively, each with their own crown and leader. It was by unifying both lands that we got the first pharaoh.
There is an area called The Red Sea coast desert. They harbor endangered animals, I believe. Could be that Oda took that as an inspiration for the Lunarians.

A place called Black Land, maybe there is a Black Land or Black Line somewhere in One Piece. I know Egypt was formed by conquering a place that supply stone, something like that. Maybe Black Land is needed to unite/destroy Red Line, I don't know, just talking nonsense.
The Black Land was the part made fertile by the Nile, as opposed to the arid Red Land of the desert.
So, in OP, the Black Land is Enel's vearth.
Incidentally, the Black Land is also where the Sun God (Ra) resided.

But Imu is one of the 20 kings. He is from the "second world". He is not a being from the first world (like the earth god or the serpent of hell flames)
He was just a mortal who ate one of the 4 gods fruits (I believe is the forest god's fruit) and became immortal
