Man everytime someone posts pre skip Sanji scenes it genuinely cheeses me. It's a reminder for how much of a G pre timeskip Sanji was. Post skip started off weak enough but WCI was where the shitshow peaked, character assassination right there.

Lack of SH focus in general lead to their gimmicks sticking out, just so happens Sanji has the most annoying gimmick when constantly shoved in our faces, he got the short end of the stick in that sense. And then when Oda did focus on him he gave us a one arc rental "Nicest Guy" Sanji character on WCI. Now he's in a power rangers suit (which makes sense from a power scaling perspective in order for him to keep up) the complete opposite of what made his character attractive in the first place as a fighter, which was him not using weapons, dfs, handicapping himself in battle by not punching, mix of brains and brawn.

Sanji's completely lost his charm. I'll never get over it. Oda threw this character in the gutter.

Yeah, pre-timeskip Sanji was one of the greatest character in OP imo.

Not everyone has to have Rivals & it doesn't mean Sanji is Weak
He is simply not competing for anything & that's why he doesn't have Rivals
And not all Rivalries are about Fighting

Queen, Hogback & Caesar for example are Chopper's Rivals
Vegapunk, Queen & Judge are also Franky's Rivals

As for Sanji, Characters who he might call Rival in the Future are:

Some Cook
Someone who Chases Women just like Him
Someone who is Proud in his Kicks
Someone who Poses as a Hero

IMO these are Characteristics of Someone that Sanji can truly call a Rival & want to Beat them
