Just think. Instead of havinf luffy being saved by the Heart Pirate, Oda could have written that usop used his Haki to find him drowning in the storm and have a plant grow underwater to save him and bring him to land. Even somethign small. Instead we get gag of Usop running and doing this face

Lol, Oda could have had him swap places with Law's entire crew in a submarine, with what... a brief flashback of learning the Haki he doesn't even know to ask about? Jeez.

Usopp will finish this arc in better shape than Sanji having encountered many of the same enemies lol. But he should put Roger to shame with a Haki feat so that he's not useless.

On top of that list, Usopp used to be an underdog, but now Oda is too lazy to get him out of the situations he places him in, fighting Trebol and Sugar, make a scary face (win via gag), fighting Page One and Ulti, emperor bails him out, struggling against fodder (Izo a sniper comes in and saves him).

Oda hates Usopp, so he might as well kill him off and stop bullying him

No bro, Ussop in SH crew is the most important role, He is a sniper and he plays as Guardian when SH's ship runs on the sea, he observers around he alerts for the others. Or in combat, he will try to take down the other sniper of enemies or open for the combat with his private shoot. Everything about Ussopu is developed for his sniper style, and we are happy about that. BTW you factos about Zoro's :)))

There is nothing wrong with Usop being weak, that is the whole point I am trying to make.
My problem is that he is useless. Useless to the plot and just with the same arc in every saga, if he even has an arc. In Wano Usop is AFK, barely coasting through hoping he survives.
He wanted to become brave, the bravest warrior on the world, but he has done barely anything in that regard since.. Dressrosa, in Wano he's just there. I know it will probably be the FINAL TWIST that he will risk his life one last time, but he already did that. He fought his fears, and he conquered the need to not be sogeking. BUT NO, just kidding. He's a wimp again.

Thats how he is. Oda's development with usopp has been fine. He has been consistently been coward throughout the series.

The fact his alter ego sogeking is bravest man in the seais just the personality he has with him when the crew needs him most.

So far i think oda has not justified with potryal of Nami , Robin this arc.

I love Usopp but I'll be honest, I don't think Oda remembered that he gave Usopp Haki.

More importantly he gave him haki that requires one to be calm and his character is anything but that.

That would require oda to actually write usopp in a way that plays to his strengths, which he did very well pre timeskip. Now he's struggling with fodder.

I mean , Im not mad at the take were in Wano a major arc, and Usopp hasn't done shit, All strawhats get their moment in major arcs like these. I don't think we've ever waited this long for a Usopp moment in a major arc.

How? Robin got a two chapter fight with character development and still needs to read the poneglyph, Nami got her character development at the expense of Usopp and Zeus a power up that was expanded on since WCI. Usopp has always been scared but he didn't get any character development, any power up and most of his roles were small and insignificant, at least Brook got to weaken Black Maria, Usopp didn't even get to weaken Page One or Ulti

Usopp was and always will be a gag character. To not understand that, I don't know if that's really liking him or setting yourself up for disappointment based on misreading.

There are plenty of people who seriously think he's a Haohshoku candidate, or that he could have actually gone man to man with Page One. Holy shit, lol.

It all depends of what Oda wants to do, Zoro and Sanji shouldn't have been able to win against Queen and King, those power ups were plot armor, but Oda did it because that's what he wanted to, he could make Usopp stronger and braver as well, but he refuses because he hates him
