Like you said there just aren’t enough people with CoC to cover every single matchup

Since regen is connected to Imu's power, then Oda is gonna use it as a time bomb. Luffy (and his helpers) would need to take him down before gorosei take down his crew. That's if it's CoC through.

It's the same thing Joyboy infused in his COC blast. The Strawhats side was escaping the Egghead and on the other side the WG is continuing the assault. The WG had the intend to kill them. That Joyboy COC blast only hurts those that had (evil intentions/bad spirits) not the one who didn't wish to fight. I think it's some kind of holy COC stuffs.

Maybe a kitetsu's curse can hurt them too since we never seen Nasjuro allow himself to get cut but he allow Sanji to land a hit.

It's not CoC, it's something infused with it. I think it can be infused with CoA or something else that not require haki.

Not everyone in New world can weild average YC1 level Haki.

Hell luffy even suffered from Ulti attack after fighting Katakuri which just shows how superior his CoA.
