Powers & Abilities Oda making sure that Usopp can't run away nor hide against Van Augur?

I think the Straw Hats are going to fight the Blackbeard Pirates in pairs, showing the Straw Hats are stronger when working together and that they are Nakama, while the BB Pirates are just a gang of outlaws who like each other, but wouldn't die for each other.
So, I have Usopp and Nami fighting Van Augur and Catarina Devon. The fun part about this is the warping and lying: Catarina Devon can transform into Usopp, and have Van Augur warp both Usopp and Devon around Nami, so she doesn't know who is who.
Nami is a thief, Usopp is a liar, and Catarina is both, someone who steals people's faces to lie about her identity. Having Nami have to figure out who the real Usopp is, would be fun.

We haven't seen Usopp fight serious (meaning, no comedy involved) though...
2v2 huh? That would be interesting... Makes sense for the East Blue recruits (Zoro and Sanji, Nami and Usopp) but kinda random with the rest of the crew...
After all, BBPs are often fighting as team as well...

This is just my personal opinion but I think Augur will reap what he sowed. Augur is gonna be confident in his ability to the point that he started to abuse it, then once he warps the bullets in a wrong timing, there’s a chance that he’s gonna get killed by his own bullets. That’s the only way where Usopp can win this death battle.

Each Titanic Commander will overwhelm all Crew except one who defeats him
In other words, while SHs are sailing, Auger will start sniping them and no one can deal with him even Luffy and Zoro, so Usopp outsmart and snipe him
And then Doc Q make everyone Sick (Even if Haki Users aren't, they will still have to protect rest), so Chopper must solve this Fight
Devon will shapeshift and trick entire Crew except Nami who outsmart and defeat her
Sanjuan tries to sink them all and so on, you get the idea ... etc
Basically a Group Fight rather than Strict 1v1
