Avenge plot arround the minks & Peros is already a mess. Imagine the guy that you want to avenge for is showing up right in front of you..

Oda is so afraid to kill one of his characters cause he feels like if he got cornered one day with a plot… some characters ability/history can get him out of this trouble hhhhh
Kinda like Bleach / Juha bach powers / Ichigo broken bankai/ and the guy with the book ability who has rewritten Ichigo’s bankai that it was not broken
so similarly… I feel Oda doesn’t kill as much cause he feels that if he wrote himself into a corner… he can have more choices/characters to pick to save the plot
