Crazy thing is, Oda did all these four insane and amazing arcs under 100 chapters!!
From Chapter 490 to Chapter 580, back to back 10/10 arcs. A reason why One Piece became so popular. Yes before it was very high too, but with these four arcs it got the highest volume sales(38mio one year) and reached his peak.
And sadly if you compare Wano to it, it is like day and night. Wano had it run from chapter 909 to Chapter 1057....
Even 40 Chapters more than entire War Summit saga with 4 Arcs... it is crazy..
Im pretty sure old Oda with good editors like Summit war arcs, would handle wano far better.
A reason why I think that Wano is probably the worst arc Oda ever made when it come to writing.
He should cut it at least to half of it, make the arc at best 70-80 chapters long.
I mean look how many crazy shit happen during SA>Amazon Lily>Impel Down and Marineford. Everything perfect down under 100 chapters...
Wano was Oda worst work in my opinion with bad calls, stalling and wasting panels. Imagine how characters like Perospero or Jack didn't even got full screen fight because Oda rushed the ending... in a arc with 140 chapters.
Wano was writed very poorly and im sure Oda probably knows this too. He should never stall events.
It will be very hard to top these four arcs.
