Oden's Paradise Totsuka vs Kaido is a touching conquerors Haki. Oden was already using touching conquerors before in Wano, he just improved his usual technique. Yamato's many techniques are touching conquerors too.

so it’s very possible for Oden to have used Paradise waterfall with no CoC against the boar and then use it with CoC against Kaido… Especially since there’s no black lightning when he used it on the Boar and there is a bunch of Black lightning when he used it on Kaido

this SBS doesn’t randomly prove that Paradise waterfall can only be done with CoC when we saw it can in fact be done without CoC

It is proof enough because the paradise waterfall(shitaraki or whataver) was only used on the boar. On Kaidou both by Oden and the scabbards it was paradise totsuka.

I am saying that Oden wasn't in a situation that it would force him to use his haki that way. It is a mid battle evolution. Zoro was desperate to keep his swords and evolved to use it that way mid battle.
