So for a while now I've been wondering about how internal destruction haki would be demonstrated for weapon users/ swordsmen and the likes.
A possible demonstration could be Whitebeard vs Roger when their COA clashed mid air without them touching each other. This shocked Oden meaning he didn't have such an ability.
Since then, Oden grew stronger to the point where he was certain that he had attained his limit. Giving the amount of hype Kaido gave him, it would be reasonable to conclude that Oden at his prime had attained that level of haki as shown by Roger and Whitebeard.
Now we move on to Yamato. Yamato has not only shown the ability to use barrier haki, but also the ability to shoot her haki through her club. She lost likely learned to use these abilities from Oden's Journal which documented his adventures.
Now what is surprising is that Yamato didn't know how to take off her exploding cuffs. It seems like when Luffy used internal destruction haki, it was the first time she'd seen such an ability. This would imply that Oden never witnessed such an ability either otherwise it would've been in his journal.
However, it is impossible that the top fighters like Roger , Whitebeard and Rayleigh didn't have such an advanced ability in their primes. So the most likely conclusion would be that internal destruction haki works differently when used with a weapon than when used with fists.
It is also interesting that what Yamato did was similar to what Luffy did when it comes to shooting your haki.
Is the above the most likely scenario?
Is it possible that someone using a sword with internal destruction haki will cut an opponent from the inside out?
Are both usages going to look the same?
