Looking at how undestroyed Sphinx and knowing Aramaki AOE, it's hard for me to believe the fight was more than mid diff.
Udon looked much more damaged, although to be fair Aramaki had to fight 2 commanders + hundred of fodders which required more AOE.

It directly destroys the "hostage" narrative some people used to cope with.

Weevil DID fight, and he lost. Looking at the state of Sphinx island Aramaki didn't even use any AoE moves. And considering the timing, it was a short fight.

Weevil was low diffed. Aramaki wasn't injured at all by Yamato's ACoC attack, its no surprise Weevil(despite his power) couldn't damage him.

Very rare to see fights on-screen if they don't directly relate to Luffy & co battle.
Only exeptions if they're directly tied to the plot like Blackbeard vs Ace

Lmao. Yamato didn't even use her DF and Greenbitch already cried about her Haki being strong, even Pre-prime Ace fought that same Base Yamato as equals, and didn't get any heavy damage.
