No wonder the manga is dropping in the writing department.. this is whats happens to every great creative the get big and think there crap dont stink ..not every idea is gold. when oda was starting out he had a lot of people around him reject creatin aspect of the story which led him to getting better at writing but now he is a loose cannon

This is why its good to have editors or assistants to bounce around ideas with and embrace even a small amount of criticism for the sake of self-improvement. When you only want to live in an echo chamber, you won't be able to tell if your ideas are actually good or if they only seem good to you.
