If a "warmongering" ancient giant like Harald was betrayed by "lesser/more human" giants, it would be pretty ironic, especially given his sacrificing his horns and violent ways, to bring pacifism and thus peace to Elbaf instead.
Idk if it's just a typical betrayal of people who want Elbaf to go back how to it was or they feel like they need to do this because they're too weak and after what happened with Linlin destroying part of Elbaf before (I keep calling it Elbaf, old habits die hard lol) or is this some of Imu's personal fuckery or a holy knight?
I'm presuming its the former, as nobody else seems to be there ofc, I don't think we'll see more of this either.

Harald was their most beloved King though, so either this was a small, rogue force of extremist rebels and thus domestic terrorists or maybe Harald could have asked the guards to kill him for some reason? Maybe relating to the abyss mark in there and trying to protect them from Imu?
I suppose the flashback will give us more answers soon ofc. I'm really looking forward to see how this plays out.

I have zero hype for the fights this arc, ngl. Seeing Luffy and Imu interact at this point just feels wrong. I don't mind seeing the Harold stuff as long as we see giants going to war.
