You know calender scaling sucks when it features Shanks and Beckman instead of Lucky Roo & Beckman
But yeah before Wano Sanji stans could have made an argument but now it’s pretty evident that Zoro & Goofy have a special connection resembling Roger & Ray. Gaban/ Sanji are still relatively decent strength wise but they just don’t hold as much weight.

Maybe if Gaban is reintroduced into the story he can shed more light on the future of this relationship.

how's that? Beckman and Roux barely have a dynamic, while in MF it was Shanks and Beckman who stopped the admirals, not Beckman and Roux.
Also it is to Beckman that Shanks declared his intention to go after One Piece

Shanks and Benn is an iconic Captain and RHM duo, only rivaled by Roger and Ray (besides L-Z)

If people don't admit that the connection between Luffy-Zoro, Shanks-Benn, Roger-Rayleigh are special compared to anyone else, then they are plainly biased
Nothing more, nothing less

Manga, SBS, databooks, merchandising and whatever
Everything implies or clearly shows this

It's just a matter of coping with that or not

Even the Kaido-King, Whitebeard-Marco, Dragon-Sabo etc are much better connections than any between a number two and a number three
