They've retained extremely tight control over managing the IP at their own pace and on their own terms. The manga ended 5 years ago, and they'll be producing box office hits for at least another 3–5 years.
Not all shonen need overly complicated narrations and convoluted plot lines to be good like Hunter x Hunter, which ends up as mid anyways. I far prefer Demon slayer to that
