Key events in Chapter 1009​

  • Orochi Severed head counts 5 from Scabbards + 1 from Kaido​
  • Raizo vs Fukurokuju​
  • Zoro Blocks Conquest of the Seas​
  • Kaido Hybrid goes off on Luffy in a 1v1​
  • Napoleon/Prometheus cut up?​

Future Predictions (Doesn't just have to be in 1010)
  • Scabbards 1v1 or join Strawhats in fights.
    • Raizo v Fukurokuju
    • Kinemon v Kanjuro
    • Denjiro + Franky v Sasaki
    • Kawamatsu v Queen
    • Kiku/Izo + Usopp/Nami v Page One / Ulti
    • Ashura might die or help Jack
    • Neko goes back. Neko/Inu vs Jack and defeat him this time
  • Big Mom falls on Wano mainland. (or)
  • Big Mom falls on top of BMP ship.
  • I do not think Amnesia O'Lin is coming back, just yet.
  • Nami gets the charge box (maybe it drops off the roof idfk)
    • It would align with the Reverse Sabaody theory.
    • Nami could defeat Ulti (there's a reason I say this, I will get to it later)
  • We got in succession Human, Dragon, Human, Dragon, Dragon Hybrid Kaido through a multitude of different matchups.
  • We got Big Mom tossed out the picture.
  • Marco said earlier when you reach the top or Wano/Onigashima, the era will look different.
    • It may apply to Big Mom as well. I've personally always maintained Big Mom has a superior portrayal compared to Kaido being that her conflict with the MC is longer running, Luffy's disrespect is much more impactful, and he said he would defeat her. Given all the circumstantial evidence and combat focus betw Kaido and Zoro, I think it's very safe to say they will have to have a 1v1 later or sooner or Kaido acknowledges Zoro (just a theory).
  • Going back to what I said, Big Mom is gone. Kaido is the focus rn. Luffy and Zoro are injured. I think they take a min timeout and we see some more Law, Killer, Kid stuff.
  • But exactly when Zoro and Luffy have recuperated.........
    • Lets go back to the format [ in succession Human, Dragon, Human, Dragon, Dragon Hybrid Kaido through a multitude of different matchups. ]
      • I think Oda has spent long enough with Kaido, alternating between forms, swapping, dodging, tanking, and this is all after Kaido fought the scabbards.. [their fight started 987 I believe (It's been 22 chapters since Kaido has started scrapping)]
        • I think there are a few more game changing events left for Oda to show off with Kaido .
          • Awakening Dragon Hybrid
          • Zoro cuts open Kaido's Scar
          • Zoro tames Enma / Awakens CoC
          • Luffy earns a PU, whether new Form, Ryuo/G4 mastery, or G5
          • Zoro Kills Kaido
          • Just focusing on the MC's, Kid/Law/Killer should also definitely show things, I'm just not as interested in them.
  • These things could likely happen one after another in the same chapter. I'm giving roof piece another 7-10 chapters. We covered plenty of ground in just 6 or 7 chapters. It should all align and wrap up once Onigashima nears the Flower Capital.
  • Given Enma at first strike cut off a cliff, I'm sure Zoro could slice Onigashima with 3-Thousand Worlds whilst opening up Kaido's scar or one happens after the other. These parallels between kaido's dialogue, moveset, and style mirrors that of Zoro's.
And the reason I say 7-10 chapters is because if the 5 Act Structure is a thing then this setup
  • Act 1: 15 Chapters
  • Act 2: 25 or 30 Chapters
  • Act 3: 60 Chapters
    • Then it would mean we have another 9 chapters left.
    • Act 3 started 958. Its been 51 chapters.
And my speculation isn't wholeheatedly baseless. I thought the act structure and Kaido stuff because this caught my eye earlier.

In 1009, both Luffy and Zoro got hit hard, both will probably be out of commission for a little bit. In 1010 I think we will see Law do something big against Kaido, but then he'll be clubbed. In 1011 Kidd and Killer will get knocked out after hurting Kaido and then we'll go back to the dome.

Predictions for 1010

chapter starts off with everyone on the live floor reacting to hakai

Zoro in bad shape where law has to room him back down below


everyone’s back up and Kidd has a new weapon on his arm

They come up with a plan to get kaidos kanabo out of his hands

Kidd uses Zeus with kaidos kanabo for thunder bagua. Basically stealing his move. It doesn’t have to be bagua but some sort of attack.

end of chapter onimaru and hiyori reveal themselves to zoro and they start healing him. Hiyori explains she has come to kill orochi.

- Luffy got KOed
- Kid, Law, Killer vs Kaido, they are at disadvantage
- Big Mom reappears with "air" soul. They defeat those three SNs
- Big Mom and Kaido walk to Luffy and are going to finish him up
- Suddenly, Zoro speeds blitz blocking those attacks
- Big Mom and Kaido compliment Zoro and about his previous block on Hakai
- Zoro unleashes Asura, Kaido and BM shook by the monstrous aura around him.
