For sure Luffy needed all SN to buy him time to grow. Nobody can deny it. If Luffy would have stand against Kaido in a 1v1 from the beginning he would have been dead now

No headcanon. Fujitora showed to be a swordsman by brandishing a sword and if it doesn't convince you, he also showed swordsmanship familiarity .

剣 is just a generic word for sword and commonly is used to refer to a double edged sword or broadsword like the one mihawk uses. 士 is a suffix for a person with a certain qualificiation. so kenshi is swordsman/sword user.

刀 is more commonly "katana". zoro signs his name with that letter when bartolomeo asks for an autograph. 使い is just "user". so toutsukai is just swordsman/katana user

it doesnt mean anything but what kind of weapon they use. zoro is a 刀使い but you would say he isnt a swordsman?

Like I said, the regular rules are out. Kaido's statement doesn't make sense if you're going by other examples of CoC. It lines up better with the first demonstrations of his ultimate techniques, Sanzen Sekai at Baratie and Asura at EL.

If we don't get a flashback with Mihawk's acknowledgement I'll be really disappointed.

I think we are at the point where the attack can damage everybody. When even Kaido got cut. The problem is: would shanks let the attack hit? I don’t think so. I even think that Kaido is still underestimating the SN so he didn’t go all out when it comes to dodging and blocking. Now it will change for sure

yeah Kaido would let an attack like that hit just so he could see how much damage it does, the Beast wants a challenge whereas shanks is more agile and offensive I feel like or he’d deffo try block the attack

Kid didnt protect at all Luffy not once, but yeah they are guardian angel, and Zoro is the highest&strongest angel for Luffy and not only in this arc but many other arcs xD.
let enjoy all the next chapter, and hopefully I can enjoy more content between Luffy&Zoro and Kaido for a solid arc so far.

Yes, Kaidou has taken quite a few blows in this chapter, but he is not affected by them at all (beyond a few gasps). Even Zoro's attack does not affect him that much (although he is going to leave a scar) since after receiving it he is still standing, he turns around, talks to Zoro and then attacks them as usual.
