No it was more like him showing shock and concern as it is advanced form of CoC not some fodder chump shit that Luffy showed him when he got one shot pre Udon.

Leaving deep scar on Kaido seems to be possible with Advanced CoC anyways
Plus Zoro had that huge aura around his sword prior to Ashura and aura around all his swords
Also these 6 extra sword are illusions but Zoro is blocking Kaido's hits with them so technically he isn't touching

Its an Adv CoC Mode but Zoro would need to learn more about it.

No, shock and concern would have had Kaido like "How is this possible, only a few people in the World can utilize this power", directly after being attacked by Asura. Not explaining it to Luffy 5 minutes later when Luffy brings up what Kaido can do with Thunder Bagua into question.

You can use Haoshoku too after Kaido is cut..Zoro never released his CoC at that point..he wasn't down at that point..right after Kaido is cut he is showing shock and then suggesting Zoro's presence means they take over the world.

Reality is if it isn't Advanced CoC and Zoro with all his bones broken can parry three club hits from Hybrid Kaido while Luffy needs adv CoC Luffy is a complete chump
