And Kaidou was all that was preventing Kid, Luffy, Law from taking over, and it's neccessary for BB to become the main biggest threat to Luffy. We are talking about an end of the Yonkou Saga here mate. It's no difference than the End of the Whitebeard Era.

Zoro facing or fighting is your headcanons relisitically the next threat is Shiryu. And that’s because he has invisibility and is a master swordsman.

Also with Kaido Zoro isn’t facing him alone but with multiple other fighters. It is also your headcanon about shanks. Kaido has already placed Shanks in his top five. Shanks and Kaido could have just had a tastupid essay.
Dude shanks or other name does not matter.
After zoro killing kaido, oda couldn't write hype moment for other mstchups .
Who is the shiryu shit compared to kaido.

Secondly , current zoro couldn't kill kaido.
There is two option black blade and advanced coc usage.

But if oda gives this upgrade , the other arcs what will.zoro take as a upgrade.

Kaido can be defeated and sent to Marineford like everyone else seeing as CP0 is already there. Vegapunk can finish whatever experiment he was doing with him. His fate may very well be the same as Doflamingo.

These people are slow. Like I understand not believing in a shocking ending, because nothing is ever guaranteed so far in advance. But the mf goes around talking about how he wants to die and literally picks up his whole island to put it in place for a damn execution in front of named characters (tied to Zoro) who we are shown looking at the fucking sky in remembrance of past samurai.
