They can't read. Some think that Zoro declared King is not whilst instead he factually meant the other way around but that he hadn't known originally so it came as a surprise.

Did it get dismissed though? I've not commented on ppl bringing it up in this thread but most of the past arguments has been that Zoro is capable of one-shotting King. Specifically using his feats that scarred Kaido as proof.

Asura can and will one-shot King- it's an attack that scarred Kaido for life while Zoro was heavily injured. Though ofc that doesn't mean literally any attack would lol. Just like how KKG can one-shot commanders but that doesn't mean every red hawk would.
