Bested as in, blocking every one of Kaido's attacks and then blizting Kaido before his last attack and scarring Kaido. Kaido only hit Zoro with thunder baguaed because he was out of energy and on the ground. Even then it wasn't enough to knock Zoro unconscious.

I dont think its impossible, but to me it seems that Sanji will go down another route with his genetic mambo jambo and his fire and I would actually much rather have that, makes him more unique

Well yeah, him getting CoC isn't about strength. I've been saying since pre time skip that Zoro, Sanji and Usopp will all get CoC, and Usopp is obviously not one of the strongest SH's

I can even vouche for a scene that we're 100% going to get in the future, with Zoro and Sanji having a CoC clash and fodder dropping around them while they fight eachother
