Everytime Oda focuses on the battle, he displays ultra dominance from King, with Zoro heavily pressured, on the floor, bloodied, and exhausted while King is unscathed, all that with Zoro himself admitting he is on the losing end of the battle

Not a trend that will continue forever tides will turn

Luffy found out that Kat is a shapeshifter not a true Logia and that attacks do hurt him, and needed to develop his own FS + Snakeman to counter his FS

Zoro needs to find out what is stopping King from bleeding or not taking any damage. Zoro might need to develop an attack to bypass durability or learn internal CoA

I will never understand people who seriously believe that Doffy is a YC1.5lvl character after all the shit which we see from Firstmates. I already thought Katakuri feats shit on Doffy, like Doffy legit getting mid diffed. And now King even more get hype moments. Marco was always a monster on his own. YC1.5 would mean to be almost equal to these monsters(King,Marco and Kata) but isn't the case, the gap is massive, every firstmate should mid diff Doffy at worst and if King continue of getting insane feats, this even end on a low diff. It clearly show again that people hype to much Doffy, he is and will never be close to YC1lvl characters, his playground is like with guys like Jack,Cracker and Vista to this point...

Being Vice Captain doesn't necessarily mean you are stronger, Beckman is a Yonko Vice Captain while Oden was a Yonko Commander, doesn't mean Beckman is stronger than Oden.

But I suppose Beckman is stronger for now.

Also notice that King is a flying rare Zoan with special fire abilities, is introduced alongside the third in command and stops the BMP from entering Wano?

King basically has traits from Marco and Katakuri lol. Hopefully Oda atleast made the character to be different.

This looks like something straight out of a Rubber Hose cartoon. It's so goofy, yet a little disturbing.

I like that Zoro brought up King's back flame. So far, it just seemed like an aesthetic choice, or something he'd probably use to coat his attacks with fire, but it's implied it might be a sort of life force, or protective element. If it's the case, Zoro has just what he needs to deal with that: Fire Cutting.

Also, this whole chapter just echoes Luffy vs Katakuri. Zoro is fighting un uphill battle and must figure out his opponent's abilities in order to win. But Zoro has the added pressure of needing to beat King in comparatively shorter time, as Onigashima is set to fall or blow up in very little time.

I'm so happy to see Drake take on CP0. It's our first blatant example of Marine vs WG. I hope Oda can develop it more. There's quite a bit of potential here.

He wasn't knocked out, neither was he one shotted, the next few panels he was in the air ready to head butt her
