1) It's called running from the WG like a bitch, and putting his commanders lives in danger, while, himself hiding in the headquarter.

2) we don't know anything about Zoro's father rn. After seeing how his backstory is going, I won't be surprised if his father was a big Warrier, unlike fraud dragon.

Dragon has more goals than being just stronger and behaving like a mindless buffoon who should just take WG head-on. He is not called revolutionary for anything. He is bringing change all over the world and hold the reigns of revolution in several countries against the WG. Why should he put his own life in danger. On the other hand, Whoever be Zoro’s father, he would never be on the Dragon’s levels of notoriety. Even more so if he was from wano, he would be nothing more than fodder who got crushed by Kaido’s henchmen.
