These last 2 chapters have been used to hype Kaido even with luffy power up showing why he WSC.
Like in this chapter Oda said \show people you think Dragon mode slow or weak well looks at this .
Which is something people have been saying months about Kaido dragon form .

I don't get the awakening points. Luffy has only a few minutes to win here. He hasn't even unlocked awakening. How is he going to unlock it, and master it enough to beat Kaido in a few minutes? That makes no sense.

My guess was awakening might be used for stalling, but it seems like Kaido will just let Luffy recover.
