Sometimes I'm asking myself what kind of Manga do you read ? One Piece always was in terms of Luffy Goofy Comiceske style.
This ain't Fist of the North Star or Dragonball style super Saiyan style.
Luffy is a goofy limp stretching Rubber Boy.
Do you expected super bad ass looking maskuline brutal character development, than Berserk suits you better.
I mean expectations should be linked to experience. What is Luffy Goofy limp stretching meat eating idiot. So don't expect Super Saiyan 4.
This ain't Fist of the North Star or Dragonball style super Saiyan style.

Yes, the development is not bad if we're seeing this on Shonen troupe perspectivej
Yeah we're just expecting too much and want the series to be little different from others.
In better word, it is not bad but it is too sudden, who would have thought Luffy will have mythical Zoan and Nika is only introduce some 50 chapters ago.
I believe all the community should all expect Gear 5 to be some broken shit, and what now??
Interms of its power, it exceed our expectation to the point that many ppl criticize it. Idk what to expect,
We all want G5 to be very powerful and unique, not just the same usual increase in physical stats and punches harder, there need to be some kind of hax and uniqueness in it.
So i can't say it's bad
Maybe the development of fruit turning out to be a legendary Zoan fruit all overshadowed the hype of this in bad way, and ppl discuss more on that development rather than the Gear 5 itself.
But I'll wait for more chapter.
The Roger thing is just ridiculous, there's no explanation as we don't see much Roger fully fledged out, outside of being a "haki man"
