To be fair, this entire problem begins with the fact that people assumed revo commanders are "vet level" characters due to their bounties on the VC being similar to the Tobi Roppo's.

Revo commanders are a significant force and Fuji and Ryo are massive beasts for being able to not get completely fucked over by being caught by surprise and having to fight in the middle of Mariejois, which definitely limits their options.

It should be a great clash for both sides, but shounen logic apparently prevents that.
