Plants/Nature tend to be categorised as elements in fantasy especially under Earth.

Plus it might be due to Japan's own way of categorising stuff, like how they refer to serpents and dinosaurs as dragons I believe and hence why Kaido has a "fish fruit" too.

I'm not the best at explaining stuff lol.

Paramecia = abilities that enables users to become superhuman or perform a superhuman feat
Logia = Create something by turning into something
So Aramaki can turn into plants (although it's unclear what kind of types, we saw flowers, vines, and roots already though, so there's probably stuff like green leaves, maybe maple leaves, tree trunks/wood etc. pp)
