honestly it might be more nuanced and sanji and zoro have roles in the war the SN Top lads can take Admirals

its not like whitebeard's fleet where he was the only proper toptier and High tiers had to hold off admirals which was futile to no one's surprise.

if Oda is gonna draw a war for such hype and scale ffs idc if zoro and sanji get Admiral fight.. clashes are fine... but the war better be more intricate and elaborate enough than look like linear fights with just 1v1's and fodder getting squashed my high tiers..

There is alot on stake here oda can make zoro can sanji look soo much better without them have fight the admirals..

Fighting isn't the only aspect in the war.. there is intel, psychology, sabotage, formations, morale etc

Yh in general the entire idea of "defeat" seems to be getting changed so people can laugh at the Admirals.

But when we use their logic and show that.

- Pedros bombs defeated Big Mom
- SHs defeated Big Mom
- Sanji defeated Big Mom
- Queen defeated Big Mom
- SHs again defeated Big Mom

Or

- Shinobu defeated Kaido
- Kinemon defeated Kaido
- Yamato defeated Kaido

Its just.....*crickets* or defending.

You know the most funniest thing is that people use to defend Big Mom by saying that atleast nobody was able to knock her unconcious....thus she never has looked bad. But now here we are saying the Admirals are defeated because Sabo and his forces retreated.

Like hell was Fuji and Ryou's goal even defeating them or just defending Mariejoa. Which they literally did. So even if we use that logic....they still were never defeated.

Don't forget about King "neg diffing" Big Mom and her crew by kicking them down to that waterfall

if a war is divide into themes for individuals character for fights then it better be holistic as well and something leading up to the match ups
but doubt oda will have panels to spare when so much is going on just for fights like this.. there will be alot of offscreening during the war.. Mihawk vs Zoro should be a complete fight... sanji can offscreen whoever..

The gura is just as strong
The yami has potential to be the strongest logia
Mythical zoans are just as rare and special as logia if not more so
And the soul fruit is arguably one of the best counters to logia since it can turn their attacks into homies and make it their own
