This is a franky arc like wano was zoro arc, there are more important stuff from vegapunk then tech for franky like origin of devil fruits, MADS etc.....
I’m not sure how likely that would be, but that is an interesting thought. Though, IF that was the case, do you think it would be a Coby-Meppo situation with Tashigi being apart of it as well? They are partners after all.
Most translations actually used male pronouns for Dadan before she was revealed because third-person pronouns aren't used in Japanese, so this panel isn't a good example.
That's what im saying, zoro got a bit more focus then usual and franky probably this arc too but the arc doesn't revolve around him same wano wasn't zoros arc.
