Luffy does look different in his g4 transformation so it's not really that weird

In G4 Luffy just looks blown up and coated with Haki tattoos
In G5 his entire color scheme changed, from hair to clothes to eyes to (partly) face.
And no one got suspicious?

I also really want to see Vegapunk but it just feels like a big plothole.

Except if this arc is reallly short (like 5 chapters) or/and that we outright skip Elbaf, the "3 years" given by Oda a 2 months ago was complete cap
3 years is like 110-115 chapters since Oda publishes less than 40 chapters per year

obviously not happening. we are going to reach at least 30 years of publication
