Explained it here:

It's not that they don't want to fight. They wanna take permission to fight to avoid unwanted consequences. We're making it sound like they're too scared to fight a Yonko, but that's not what spoilers imply.
it was written in short summary....fight with yonko could lead to a war....see redon summary..

Idk man, It's fucking weird Kizaru getting a major L in this arc.
I don't feel that this arc is good/important enough to bring down a character like Kizaru that is way more symbolic than Kaidou ou BM.
I think that just a clash is enough.
Im not saying i want it to happen (or expect to) at all

I just picked the less worse option between those 2

Again, Zoro fighting Mihawk will happen in about a month or less. This isn't pre-Rooftop Zoro anymore. No character is too strong for Zoro to fight in the series unless we're talking about people beyond top-tiers.
Zoro grew multiple levels within a week in wano
The zoro fighting mihawk isn't comparable to zoro now

Like if sanji ends up fighting an admiral that doesn't at all mean current sanji can compete with one

If akainu spent an arc getting stalled by Beckman instead of trying to run shanks's pocket i think we can all agree thatd be lame

Same with kuzan being stalled by shiryu instead of fighting blackbeard
Fujitora being stalled by yamato instead of fighting blackbeard
Kizaru being stalled by zoro instead of fighting luffy

Its undeniably a downgrade them not being allowed to fight the emperor but having to deal with a subordinate instead
All admirals were literally stalled by commanders way back in MF. Don't get why you're acting like only the top tiers can stand up to other top tiers. Unless they decided to go full force on them like Luffy's doing with Lucci; any given admiral can be stalled by a non-top-tier as long as the guy in question is strong enough. Zoro is good enough to fight any top-tier even at full power. He's just not strong enough to win.

Akainu's the leader, the other Admirals? Mere subordinates.
Zoro already stalled an Admiral while Luffy was fighting a filler character. :rolaugh:

Like you serious admiral is not comparable to a yonko commander so

Marco clashed with kizaru but they are in no way comparable
Jozu clashed with aokiji but they are in no way comparable

If an admiral has an opportunity to fight an emperor but cant because they're struggling to get past a yonko commander its lame

Zoro isn't giving mihawk or any admiral legit fights yet
Current zoro and EOS zoro aren't comparable

Not every power-up he gets is gonna make him several times stronger. As I said, Mihawk isn't Zoro's ceiling. He won't need all the power-ups he could get to beat him or any character for that matter. He is already strong enough to kill anyone. All he needs are minor upgrades that allow him to consistently fight at a high level similar to Luffy. He's ready to take on any character including BB and Akainu in a straight fight. There is a reason why his future opponent is a tricky guy instead of a direct challenge.
