Lucci gets intimidated by Luffy’s presence. He asks Luffy what he’s doing on a government island.
Luffy looks at Atlas’ body on the ground and tells Lucci that it’s none of his business.
Lucci shortly after goes after Luffy with a Rukuogan. Luffy dodges it easily thanks to his FS. He then uses Gomu Gomu no Pistol with infused Haki, instantly sending him crashing through a wall.
He’s shocked by how strong Luffy’s gotten and proceeds to tell him that he spent 2 of those years getting stronger as well.
Lucci then starts to unleash his awakened form. A giant version of his Hybrid form with more menacing features.
Luffy looks at Lucci with interest, saying that he‘s surprised that Lucci could do that. Luffy gets excited by this and says he’s “feeling the rhythm”. You can see smoke forming into clouds coming out of his body.
Lucci goes after him again, using Soru to get closer to Luffy and attempts to land a Shigan.
Luffy goes into Gear 5 and uses Gomu Gomu no Gigant. Lucci uses Tekkai in an attempt to shield the blow. Luffy then stomps on Lucci, ending the fight instantly.
Lucci is seen like a piece of paper floating down onto the ground before expanding back to his original size. He is knocked out for the time being.
