It’s not that the anime has to be exactly 1:1, but the frames don’t look as intense as they could be. A bit more blood and scratches (?) would’ve been enough.
It really depends on the episode. Sometimes, the animation is godly, sometimes it's utter trash. But that's perfectly understandable with a weekly anime, with a budget, which they save up for hype moments.

The biggest drawbacks to that is that they pull back and extend every fking stare and character reaction. IMO look at the new bleach anime. It's so fast paced because it comes out in seasons. But OP is such a money-making machine that doing weekly below-average episodes and one good episode every once in a while makes HUGE cash.
