I forgot to mention, people occasionally bring up @EmperorKinyagi on Piratefolk and say they miss him on there too lol.
I had one post on the Elden Ring subreddit with 20,000+ upvotes and several million views that got shared to me by an irl friend who didn't know I posted it.

And I blew the whole account up during my 1055 breakdown.

Sad times.

Yeah but then again, it's Luffy's story - we are meant to focus on his success, with Dragon's goals and storyline being a backdrop to all of this.

I don't think Oda meant for the Revos vs Gov to have any meaningful nuance besides CDs evil - Revs good.

It'll be a case of "and they lived (relatively) peacefully ever after".

"the world changed but now the real work for equality begins"

the endless struggle

Slaves were abolished irl, but nothing changed really
-Forced prostitution is still as lively as ever
-Slavery reshaped itself in the form of debt
-Countless countries are still enslaved by the big dawgs

Endless cycle of big eats small
In America there was a funny loophole. The 19th amendment abolished slavery "except as punishment for a crime" and then almost immediately the police force expansion started.

If prison labor is counted as slavery (which it should be, going by the amendment) America has more slaves now than they did before the civil war.
