There's no reason why we can't compare one arc with another arc in the same series. We know how shit works with Oda, and it doesn't go in line with your line of thought.
The comparisons are completely random, there's no connection whatsoever.
Even if we take the popular theory that the Final war is Skypiea 2.0 my scenario checks out, let's take Zoro as the example.
He fights the light user Kizaru at MF, then moves up a level above to fight Ghandi at the holy land, then confronts Imu and loses. All those battles are part of the same arc but have nothing to do with each other. The same will happen in the Final war. The Shandians are the Revolutionaries in this case who started the battle and will advance past first but ultimately fail.
I've got nothing against Akainu going down in the same arc as Im, and I have always been on Akainu vs Luffy train. The issue here is you trying to have it all knowing full well that you won't get it. I know the goal here is to establish that Akainu is above everyone who comes before him(Kaido, Kizaru, Blackbeard, Shanks, etc), and you know pretty well that Akainu won't get recognition that you're trying to give him as a major final antagonist if he's gonna be Luffy's Blueno in the final war.
Again. That's a forced parallel. Nothing confirms that Akainu is the Blueno of Luffy in the Final arc, that's just the fandoms expectation because they don't like that the fight happens in the first place. All the build up is on the table, I'm not foolish enough to believe that Sabo will take this fight when an overwhelming amount of evidence is speaking against it.
did not miss the point. I know what you're trying to say but you have to look at both sides of the coin. You can't just say similar things can happen to two characters without them being in similar situation.
Great point which directly applies to Akainu being the Blueno of the final arc too. A comparison that's so nonsensical you can't even take it seriously.
You may actually genuinely believe Akainu would put top-tier Luffy in such a condition, but we have no reason to buy that idea without solid evidence especially when it took two people on Akainu's tier to do what they did to Zoro. Dude's strong and all but the series is not Akainu wank fest lmao.
I absolutely do because Kaido, Big mom, Shanks or Akainu are not the same fights for Luffy. Akainu with much, much, much fewer blows can do more damage to Luffy than Kaido did over the entire Onigashima battle. It takes one good hit.
All i see is us having different expectations. Yes i do not have any expectations for guys like Aramaki but for Akainu the sky is the limit and I'll ride that till the end.
