I’m fine with hyping the RA but Oda also went out of his way to emphasize admirals being restrained asf, and we only had like 1-2 pages skirmishes. On top of that the likes of Morley and Karasu have perfect devil fruits for hit and run tactic.
Can’t objectively put them above YC based on that.

He went out of his way to emphasize admirals being restrained because he needs to establish Admirals vs RA wasn't an all out battle. That had it been an all out battle the scale of the battle would've been much grander.

Yet despite that, same Oda also goes out of his way to emphasize, that handicap or not, the RA commanders are putting up a good fight AND that the RA commanders are serious business, from dudes like Jabra who're atleast gonna be YC4 level now if going by Kaku/Lucci progress:

Oda doesn't mention the restraint the admirals had to downplay the RA, he mentions the restraint he had to acknowledge why the RA got their shit done. Since the admirals couldn't do a full on fight with the RA captains, which is what it would've turned into, with the RA commanders not being able to get the job done since even if they win they would've been fucked up.

Dragon has a shit ton of Ws when it comes to coups around the world
Sabo is borderline yonko level same as Beckman, arguably with more backing seeing he has a powerful logia now. Karasu has a lot of hype, Morley is meh I'd say its just that his fruit is extremely useful in a situation like this.

Admirals are still the WG top fighters tho, and a benchmark for surpassing Roger's legend. 1 Admiral is enough to swat an entire yonko crew if you exclude the yonko, so I dont see how its downplay for RA commanders
