Will Shiryu sneak kill Mihawk ?

The point isn't about Shiryu being a sole DF merchant because we know for a fact that he's Magellan's equal before fruit.
The point is about Shiryu posing matchup problem and not amounting to Zoro, which isn't a slight on Shiryu but just acknowledging how powerful Zoro is currently.

Will Shiryu perform as well as Rooftop Zoro even against 2 Yonko, let alone KoH Zoro? That's the question that needs to be answered, which is very likely no unless he too is a CoC Swordsman like Zoro.
The Hide & Seek ass whooping isn't really indicative of their overall level because Shiryu is very likely inferior to Zoro in CoO, CoA, CoC, Swordsmanship, physical stats and a whole lot more but will push Zoro on the backfoot purely due to his inability to counter Shiryu's DF.

Zoro needs to git gud, yeah. That's gonna be the crux of the fight, not surpassing Shiryu or anything. After this fight, we are looking at Zoro being a Swordsman with 3 Advanced Haki forms. All that's left is to split the sky at that point. Shiryu has done pretty much nothing to say that he's comparable to that.

Yea It's possible but it depends how it's done. Look at King for instance. His AP was nowhere near Rooftop Zoro's, but due to 1 ability and being balanced enough in other ways he bullied Zoro.

Maybe Zoro looked much weaker than he actually was against King given the circumstances, but no way can you convince yourself that they weren't at least on the same level.

Let the same fight play out for a bit longer and Zoro would win, even without CoC.
