Anyone who thinks it is, also clearly thinks Luffy vs Kaido was permanently over the first time Kaido knocked out Luffy. Or the 2nd. Or the 3rd. Or when he straight up killed him too.
Also applies to when Crocodile defeated Luffy 3 times too ofc lol.
There was also those awakened jailer guards who kept coming back after being knocked out but they're awakened zoans tbf ofc. Unless Kizaru awakens as Light God Pika, his chances arent so favourable but im sure hes not done yet at all, he still has WAY more to show and to truly get serious and focused too, to go all out.

Kaido literally thinks Shanks can fight him, what do you think this scene implies where he puts Shanks with Rocks, Roger, Whitebeard and Oden?

The thing is, if a Luffy with 100% of his stamina uses G5 and chooses to exit G5 on his own after a few seconds, he will appear to age rapidly because that's a side effect of G5, similar to how he used to shrink when using G3, as we saw against Lucci.
Against Lucci, it was not explicitly mentioned that Luffy was close to his time limit, yet he did appear to age rapidly when he exited G5 on his own.
