never understand the hype of one piece , so many people calling peak to the point where it's making me question if these people are even watching the same thing as me.

First of all I think one piece has an amazing plot , thousands of islands and things to discover, many powerful pirates and generally an amazing plot, that is the reason I started watching in the first place , I am now at episode 1035 and I dropped the show , I can confidently say one piece is one of the most boring shows I've ever watched, no seriously every arc after the time skip has BEEN THE EXACT SAME shit , our friendy pirates the straw hats saving an island from a villain that's whole purpose is to be serve as luffys stepping stone, no really what's so different about Kaido and doflamingo, their both very cruel dictators of their islands, but thats it , thats all they are. Their just there for Luffy and his crew to fight and save the island , and that's what y'all call peak? Dare I mention the fact that Wano has 200+ episodes where at least 75% if not more are pointless flashback, recap episodes , or straight up episodes with about 5 minutes of an actual fight and the rest is reused animation, I'll give you an example, when Queen shoots people with that freezing gun every single episodes we get the exact same scenes, "Queen shooting ppl and Chopper looking for antidote" this shit drags for fucking 15+ episodes, like is that what you call peak?.

The story of Wano pretty much goes like this .

Kaido demolishes Luffy about 3-4 times , Luffy says the words I won't give up every time and learns a new power up then gets clapped again, Same thing with Zoro, he sleeps for some episodes then become Fully healed again. This shit is the ultimate plot armor , these guys will never be harmed, Kaido and big mum are supposed to be the 4 strongest pirates and yet Our straw hats seem to always have more durability than them despite Kaidos reputation of having the most durability in the show.

I'm not even gonna mention all the other problems with mid piece because I could write a whole book but I did write the general problems above. Some of the problems being of course the so called genius author that is actually a fraud, he has so much to work with but follows up the same shitty formula for years and y'all praise him for it's 2. The fact that Blackbeard is a better character than the whole of the straw hats despite barely appearing I. The show says a lot. 3.Chaeacters like NAMI and other only used for porn. And other characters like Usoap and Chopper being used for comedic purposes.

If you think I'm wrong your either delusional or a 12 year old who has not watched anything besides one pieces, also if y'all want I can drop you about 300 episodes where nothing happens excluding fillers because fillers are actually interesting.

I don't understand why people go through this much effort. Is it a sunk cost thing for you?

It's large scale story telling isn't matched by other mangas, its not infested with minors (comparatively), the world is well built mostly consistent and generally fun to be in. You sound like you're trying to hate it.

I mean you say you hate that Chopper is used for comedic purposes only, but also bitched that the Ice Oni disease from QUEEN THE PLAGUE had an effect on the battlefield. Nami was right there with Luffy during WCI, and in Wano stood up to Kaido and Ussopp had a tragic moment with O-Toko.

Wano was stretched but damn dude. Maybe cool off and take a break from the series. In my opinion One Piece >>>> 95% of anime and is why I've kept with it for decades. A long running series will have lows, but even Wano had moments that I found sick. I love reality warpers so G5 made me shit my pants bruv. Not to mention eggheads been a blast basically start to finish.

Well I can't speak for others but what i personally like about is all the unique characters and powers

Literally thousands of characters and each one has their own story only oda would give a random character like senior pink such a powerful backstory I can't think of any other show that delves so deep into other characters outside of the main crew.

Now you're right it's far from perfect but imo when it comes to characters, their stories and how they all interact and interact with the world is indeed peak

Majority of other series have bland characters that aren't explored more than the surface level

Also so many cool and unique powers

A dude Literally turns into a jacket, there's a girl who can turn her body into multiple weapons, a woman whose basically God and makes life by embedding souls into people

That's what I enjoy about one piece

The characters, The powers and the stories that surround them.

Every Kuma Flashback Chapter always reminds me that Yassop is one of the worst dad alongside ging and that guy from Full Metal Alchemist

basically what we expected

• Bonney eats her DF
• Vegapunk cures Bonney in return for Kuma becoming a cyborg

Also that Kuma visited all the places he sent the SHPs, Dragon hinting his wind logia, Kuma showing battle powress negging everyone alone, how Bonney is going to be cured, his dynamic with VP, How saturn is involved.
This is a very eventful chapter but obviously crybabies with minus IQ would hate it for multiple reasons one of them being unable to understand the story.

Tejas reminded me, there's really no way Oda's putting a 10th of as much effort in Mihawk's backstory....

His backstory will be similar if it is related to the end game somehow. Kuma having history with Saturn, knowing about Nika, Buccaneer race is the reason why he has been given a decent sized fb.

Sterry probably Poisoned King before him, He doesn't necessarily need to be the same King from Luffy Flashback
And even if i'm wrong & He is Dead, i still believe Oda needs to explain why that CD bothered to visit Goa Kingdom

Even in this Kuma Flashback, We still don't have an Explanation of how Akainu fits in here
Kizaru was probably visiting Egghead to meet Vega & Sento & that's how He met Bonney, but what about Akainu?
With how He hates Dragon, how He interacted with Bonney & recently Kuma & how He killed Ace angering Sabo, Oda keeps reminding us that He is a Major Enemy of Revos Army, so He gotta have some Connection with CDs, He gotta have some Secret Plan of his

I believe He hates Dragon & needed Bonney, because He wants to Overthrow WG himself, so Revos Army represent the ones who can ruin his entire Plan

All of those literally fit Kuma way better, on top of the fact that he quite literally guarded the crew's ship for 2 years. This entire FB is his, not hers.

Its almost like INHERITED will is a thing in this show, right? Especially when his flashback shows that he did all that for bonney to LIVE and finish what he couldn't.

One piece is VERY linear, but you should know about it already since it was the same during pre TS.
