Being a clown is a big part of BB‘s character ,some might like it some not, that he isn‘t the most edgy antagonist .

Buggy falling upwards the ladder ,and probably becoming PK by accident before anyone else is a concept i would not mind

I know what you mean ,i think BB‘s crew had more aura pre timeskip .
The lack of character explanation or depth is what is hurting them big time.
We have a bunch of the most feared level 6 prisoners in his crew,but basically know nothing about them .

Genuinely Jaya BB Pirates and Lafittes and then Shiryus intro had so much aura. Then the more we see the level 6 prisoners getting negged again and again they just become so lame…
