This is the first chapter where I feel like actually nothing happens, judging from the Redon summary at least. What even is the point of teaching Bonney a "Nika-like" future? It feels like an idea Oda came up with on the spot that he wanted to include in the manga. We could have set sail already.
Whenever the anime reaches the ongoing arc in the manga, the manga's pacing comes to a grinding halt. This is a pattern you can notice in a lot of the New World arcs, Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island and Wano especially, where the latter halves of the arc feel incredibly slow. I feel like we've reached this point in Egghead.
We need to get the fuck off this island immediately.

I agree I was reading OP before this guy was born, he should listen to his elder. Oda fucked up and is likely to pull off some DBZ fusion or Naruto/Black Clover nonsense to make it worse.
