Explain to me why and how the Celestial Dragons, who demand heavenly tribute (steal), take Harems of women whom in their intro are shown to be very unwilling (rape) and kill their loved ones/husbands for resisting them (murder) are somehow better than Pirates.

No really, take your time. Why exactly are the World Government who in addition to ALL the crimes listed hold the Native Hunting Competition, a triennial contest where the World Nobles genocide an entire island, needed to keep the big bad Pirates at bay?
Matter of fact, why are the Marines who slaughter every woman and their children who theoretically could be Rogers wife and heir all for the crime of existing, any better?

The Marines NOW are basically just a larger Yonko crew who do the bidding of their WG masters. When Coby/Smoker/Fuji take over they MAY become the good guys but now under Akainu, and before him Sengoku and Kong?
Straight up there is no real difference between some Pirate like Big Mom asking for sweet/forcing you to provide her with tribute and the Celestial Dragons asking for Heavenly Tribute, expect that Big Mom and other Pirates as far we know do not randomly just genocide islands for the fun of it.

We are following Luffy's adventures but we should never forget most pirates are like Vasco Shot or Kid. Thieves, murderers, rapists, the worst society has to offer. The WG exist to keep them at bay and protect the world.
Also secrets can be extremely dangerous. Should the Ancient weapons be awakened, tens of thousands would die, chaos would spread and the strongest pirates would rule the world as they like.

kid is not comparable to someone like vasco shit. he actually has morals and we've been shown that he actually cares about injustice.
