now THIS is definitely one of those chapters that make me remember just why I love this series to begin with. The dynamics of Imu and their closest generals is so interesting.

I also for a long time thought one becomes a member of the Gorosei through the finest selection over generations. Like only the mightiest and strongest individuals of the holy knights in several eras could ascend as elders. And if an elder is replaced, that former elder must be killed. So it's a brutally competitive seat to be closest to Imu, the "creator". I hope Oda will explain how each elder got their seat in the future.

"Top 5" & "Stronger than Kaidou" turned out to be replacable pawns that are removed on a whim. Their powers arent even their own, pathetic.

It makes sense now how they able to communicate telepathically. Imu’s power might be symbiosis kind of power, which would explain him losing his shitt at Joy Boy’s haki and thus transporting most the Gorousei back.
