Death Note's ending isn't even close to trash, better ending than FMAB's in fact.

I actually preferred the ending to the original FMA anime, it was a lot less convenient, and a lot truer to the actual theme of equivalent exchange. FMAB had a fanservicish ending, that's my only gripe with the show.

Shiryu defeating Mihawk would hype him up as an absolutely crazy bloodlusted monster worthy of being the RHM of the strongest character ever in prime Teach. Yes, he's way too weak to do that, at least right now. And it probably won't happen.

But I really liked the idea. His (and his captain's) dread factor would skyrocket so fucking much. He'd become one of the worst nightmares of One Piece ever.

What is the reason he is weak for that?

Shiryu's random stab did more damage to 'Iron' Garp than Mihawk did to fodders.

If Garp slams Mihawk, he would also get same damage. Shiryu proved he can damage top tiers and take attacks from them just fine.

Its baseless to claim that its already not Shiryu > Mihawk based on feats.
