Bros, in light of the recent conversation about bad and good endings...
I personally developped a fondness for stories that will never have an ending, ended abruptly or still dont have an ending written as we speak. Stories like HxH, A Song of Ice and Fire and the Sopranos.

I'd rather have a great piece of fiction with no ending than a great piece of fiction with an ending so horrible that it shits on the whole buildup and plot, and makes you feel like you wasted years of your life following it.

OP would be shit without a conclusion anyway, 1000 chapters and counting

The sopranos does have an ending.

Eren decided that the world would never accept Eldians, so he tried to kill the whole world. To stop him was to say "hate and prejudice can be overcome".

...until it's revealed several years later, Marley genocides Paradis, which means Eren was ultimately right and genocide was the right answer.

Which for a series that dances around Authoritarian imagery of a certain country so much is really bad.
You wanted AOT to get a Disney ending? Obviously the rest of the world wasn’t going to hold hands and sing Kumbaya

The only one who can beat me is me
I can see where you’re coming from, I kind of erased the ending from my mind myself lol. Whenever I recall AOT, it’s everything but the last 20% but even the hate the ending is getting is kind of overblown lol.

This feeling of betrayal you’re describing in and of itself speaks to how fantastic of a world Isayama created. I appreciate it much more as a work of art/entertainment that it brought me. JJK is so ass, I’ll only remember Gojo and Sukuna. It’s literally a show about agenda wars. Who’s dad is stronger, my dad or your dad? That type of shonen garbage.
I'll put it this way

AOT is like having a beautiful wife, beautiful kids, a healthy relationship, the perfect job, perfect home, perfect location, perfect weather. And then decades later when your life is coming to its end, you find out your kids were never yours and your wife cheated on you. Effectively a stab in the back in the final moments.

JJK from start to finish is like having no gf, jerking off and getting post nut clarity every now and then.

AoT wasn’t that good, tbh. The mystery carried the show, Eren and Historia were always weaker side plots and they dominate the mid to late show
