It's just high concentrations of haki, not some new special different haki...

As I said, his legs were never a fundamental part of the transformation, it has always been an optional thing since day one, can the same be said for his upper body? No, that has always been a requirement until Elbaf. Here Luffy is turning only a single arm into G4, that's vastly different from anything we've ever seen before.

So your argument is just baselessly assuming he could do it the entire time but just never did for some reason... what a great argument.
So your argument is just baselessly assuming he couldn't do it despite no possible explanation existing for that.

I guess Nami can't use her cloud road with Zeus since she didn't demonstrate it. Loooooooool

Occam's razor, we didn't see him do it in four hundred chapters = far more likely that he just wasn't able to.

Let's not forget that you're just assuming he could because there's a panel of his legs not being coated in haki lmao, you have to make such a monumental leap in logic to even begin.

If they can do it I don’t see why zoro can’t
But the reason we know they can do it IS BECAUSE THE STORY TELLS US THEY CAN

Do you see the problem… without the visual indicators of the thing how do you know Zoro is doing the thing?

Will Zoro one day say “KoH style” and there’s no visual indicators of it? Well, that hasnt happened so how would you know it’s happening?

this is a story right? Why not tell us or show us a thing is happening for us to know it’s happening?

Anyway the sword visuals between Zoro and Oden are intentionally different… for example Oden’s never had black lightning on his swords

Again, they are not coated, it's fused with his skin. You are not interpreting it correctly.

Doffy says it, it's a combination of the two. A high concentration of haki would simply be a stronger armor. Luffy's armor and rubber properties mix with Gear 4, that's why it's significant that he can transform his legs, or transform into gear 4 without blowing air, because it means that he can simply use that type of ability at will, just like Katakuri. This has been a thing for 10 years bruv

Yes Luffy is using his devil fruit and haki at the same time, he isn't however magically creating a new type of haki by fusing them or whatever nonsense you're saying lol.

It's just high concentrations of CoA, and like CoA, it can be selectively applied wherever the user wants, hence Luffy sometimes having haki on his legs in G4 and other times not.

Why is Sanji using ifrit jambe for everything...
Imagine if Chopper went monster point against a gifter

Damn bro you are dense wth, it's already STATED in the manga, argue with Oda

Clearly that doesn't mean what you think it does, yes he's using CoA at the same time as his fruit, how does it mean he fused them to create a "different type of haki" like you said...?
Because simple hardening should make his rubber like iron. But he retains his rubberiness. It's clearly more tightly integrated than just "layering" or "stacking" Haki on top of skin.

Doffy explains it "rubbery... in an armament state?" meaning he shouldn't be rubbery once Haki is applied, but he figured out how.

Yes their abilities have visual indicators. Him mastering enma like oden wouldn’t

Like I already said we won’t know. We’ll have to wait be given more information. Again imo zoro like the rest of the crew or even kid and law has gotten stronger. Something I don’t think should be a controversial opinion

Besides him scaring kaido yeah there’s no clear panel of him overflowing armament or using conquerors infusion

Flame hardening allows him to basically “fuse” his physical fruit properties with the hardness of his haki. Same way katakuri can keep his sticky properties while using flame hardening
