Kaido flames were far from tiny and there were attacking luffy at full force with haki power behind them also .
It was islands size and melting a super giant bone like it was butter .
Shit are we going to for get that Akainu could not even melt shanks sword and he was touching it .

Nah Akainu was steady the best smooth/shit talker in One Piece. It's not even close, his anti WB speech against Ace had my jaw on the floor.

Even his introduction when he responded to WB who told him to light birthday cakes instead, by rhetorically asking WB if he didn't like brightly lit funerals was such a savage, quick witted response.

It was all of them giants together tho and who knows what's his backstory with Shanks.
But to be so confident to think that he can just take out any pirate crew by himself is not something even very solid top tiers would think of themselves.
"Never doubting yourself is true strength" afterall.
And he also has the balls to annoy Luffy, who likely also gives off solid top tier aura.
He just gives off major powerful top tier vibes, what fits his "goosebumps" aura
