Like all the oldies i.e. Garp, Sengoku, WB, Rayleigh and even Big Mom I expect Gaban (or Shiki) to be somewhat of a glass cannon.

Get me right, some of the above have the craziest feats in the series so they are not real glass cannons but compared to their primes their stamina and durability is perhaps 50 % while their technique, strength and attack power is 90-95 %.

In other words yes, they can hurt Zoro badly but they can't take as much damage as they once could. If this was real life boxing they would be 35-40 years old and could KO anybody in the first 3 rounds but if it goes to rounds 8-12 then they likely lose due to fatigue and bodies failing them.

Tbf, we don't know jack shit about feeding DFs to items, and it pisses me off that Oda couldn't at least have VP clarify this before introducing Shams and his Cerberus sword.
