Honestly while old garp was impressive , he didn't proved to be on Full power Kaido level going only by feats. Kuzan was not going all out. It would be small fight. I doubt gaban will have better feats than garp.

It’s less of a question if Old Garp is above Kaido and more so is Old Garp stronger than G5 Luffy.

Old garp's endurance and AP was not impressive imo. Took way less to put him down and didn't k.o.ed any BBPs outside of maybe wolf. Luffy's issue is always with his timelimit but its an issue only for him and not Kaido or Kizaru.

It wouldn’t really change anything for admirals. They never fought Gaban like you can argue about Rayleighs and Gabans connection; however, Gaban could also just not have regressed as much as Rayleigh due to lifestyle
