Tbh Oda did a good job building up Loki as a world ending threat.
Only negative aspect of his portrayal is Shanks capturing, but Shanks is Oda golden boy (Oda had no issue completely shitting on BM when he had him 0.5 shot Kid) and Loki did call Shanks a coward so there could be more to it even if I don't expect it.
